Completely renovated in 2004 - The Scot House Hotel - a Victorian Highland Hotel - offers a relaxing atmosphere, friendly personal attention, excellent award winning Scottish and International food and extremely comfortable spacious accommodation to a very high standard. It is recommended by several leading hotel guides including Michelin, aa Hotel Guide, Les Routiers, Travellers' Scotland and many more. The Scot House Hotel, which has been awarded the coveted aa Rosette many times, lies within a 20 mile radius of 10 championship golf courses including Boat of Garten, Newtonmore, Nairn and Kingussie,which has its own main line train station and is only 40 minutes away from Inverness airport, 2 and 1/2 hours from Edinburgh and 2 and 1/2 hours from Glasgow by car. The Scot House Hotel is the perfect touring base from which to explore the whisky and castle trails, try fly fishing in the River Spey, snowboarding or skiing in the Cairngorm Mountains or simply enjoying the stunning scenery and rich wildlife. Restaurant and bar have wheelchair access. Regrettably our bedrooms are not suitable for wheelchair access.
