Chris and Tamara welcome you to the Headlands in Falmouth. Built at the turn of the century for sea captains of the famous Packet Ships, the Headlands was established in 1955. It is ideally situated a few minutes walk from the town, station, National Maritime Museum, Princess Pavilion theatre, harbour and beaches.

All rooms are centrally heated, double-glazed and non-smoking. We are open all year round. Headlands has its own lounge, sunroom, balcony and private car park. It is an approved member of the Cornwall Tourist Board and English Tourism Council.

All our bedrooms are en-suite, with either shower or bath, colour tv and complimentary beverage making facilities. There are double, twin and family rooms available and we welcome children over the age of eight. While some have views over the Fal estuary and harbour, all are comfortable and individually furnished.

Rating -

Falmouth is the third largest natural harbour in the world, guarded by the impressive castles of St. Mawes and Pendennis. Strategically placed for various cruises – Round Britain, Trans-Atlantic and European positioning, 3/4 day cruises from Southampton or Dover – the port would also be an asset to themed cruises – gardens, golf, maritime history, National Trust and country houses. Spectacular sub-tropical gardens sweep down to secluded beaches on the Helford Estuary. Giant tree ferns and palms mingle with rare trees and exotic shrubs in ever changing colours. A wild and magical playground for all ages.
