Being near the rail and coach stations, it is well situated for day trips to such destinations as Tintagel, Padstow, Eden Project and St.Ives etc. Every effort is made to source locally produced food. A fruit basket is provided at reception and all rooms are tastefully decorated in pastel shades. All rooms contain an en suite shower and toilet, and are complemented with towels, a hairdryer, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, radio/alarms and a small fridge.

Small wonder surfers talk of the resort in the same breath as Bondi, Malibu and Waikiki. Beaches like Fistral and Watergate Bay are giant superbowls that could have been purpose-built to stage world championships. And they do. Because here wind, tide and water combine in that white-crested, rolling, roaring crescendo the pro's call the Perfect Wave. And if you ever get tired of surfing, there's kitesurfing, waveski and mountain boarding, too.
