Strategically placed for various cruises – Round Britain, Trans-Atlantic and European positioning, 3/4 day cruises from Southampton or Dover – the port would also be an asset to themed cruises – gardens, golf, maritime history, National Trust and country houses. Spectacular sub-tropical gardens sweep down to secluded beaches on the Helford Estuary. Giant tree ferns and palms mingle with rare trees and exotic shrubs in ever changing colours.
