The Hawthorne Dene Hotel is situated in Falmouth, a beatiful town on the South coast of Cornwall. The location is superb with many local attractions from sandy beaches to excellent golf courses.

Falmouth is the third largest natural harbour in the world, guarded by the impressive castles of St. Mawes and Pendennis. Strategically placed for various cruises – Round Britain, Trans-Atlantic and European positioning, 3/4 day cruises from Southampton or Dover – the port would also be an asset to themed cruises – gardens, golf, maritime history, National Trust and country houses. Spectacular sub-tropical gardens sweep down to secluded beaches on the Helford Estuary. Giant tree ferns and palms mingle with rare trees and exotic shrubs in ever changing colours.
