When you have no restrictions on where to put a building you tend to put it in the best place, so when they were rebuilding the Queens Hotel in 1845, that's what they did. Situated in the geographical centre of Cumbria, surrounded by the 'Lake District National Park' and close to all the conveniences of the town, it is small wonder that the Queens Hotel has always flourished. Although the hotel can only offer a friendly and efficient bed and breakfast service, we can gladly recommend several eateries that produce excellent cuisine for all tastes. The restaurant is Non Smoking at all times. |
