Hampsfell House Hotel is a family owned and run small country house hotel.You are guaranteed a friendly and personal service throughout your stay. Hampsfell House was originally a private residence, named Sandyfield House and was build in 1800. It is set in its own 2 acres of private grounds surrounded by woodland and fells giving you peace and tranquillity yet only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Ample free parking within the hotel grounds. Each of the hotel's nine bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, providing all modern facilities including colour television, clock radio, hairdryer and hospitality tray all of the the rooms are non-smoking. Excellent chef providing freshly cooked meals with fresh local produce whenever possible

W E L C O M E to our Hotel. Personally supervised and run by the Fallowfield family and has been for many years. We have a long and renowned tradition for friendly personal service and our attention to detail applies throughout all aspects of the hotel. We are open to non-residents for lunches, afternoon tea and dinner, or simply drinks on the terrace. All our bedrooms are en-suite. Many are beautifully appointed and equipped to a high standard, with modern facilities. All rooms have a sea or woodland view, or overlook the gardens. A friendly, efficient room service is available when required. Our attention to detail has always been and always will be, the hallmark of the Netherwood.
