The Fairfield is one of Lakeland's original country houses built over 200 years ago and now provides both serviced and self-catering accommodation. The original part of the house was built over 200 years ago, and in the early part of the 20th century, it was owned by Annie Garnet, the famous water colourist.

The Lonsdale was originally built in 1851 as a private gentleman's residence, it first became a hotel in 1973. We acquired the hotel in the winter of 2003 and immediately set about a £1/4 million refurbishment and upgrade.
