A convenient stop over for an event in Leicester the followng day. I think 4 stars is a slightly generous rating, and 3 would be more appropriate. Accordingly, the full room rate would be expensve but the generous discount applied for my stay made it very good value."

Hot breakfast was not really very hot.,No real complaints about this place. The location was nice and the rooms were a good size. All staff that we had contact with were helpful and pleasant. My overall impression was that the whole place was in need of a refurb' Paintwork was yellowing and bathroom tiles were cracked. Decor and fittings were comfortable but again in need of updating.. Everything was 1970s style and I would guess that this was probably when the place was built and hasnt changed since.

Myself and family had a meal in the restaurant and the food was superb. It could not be faulted and I will definitely use the hotel again.,

My only slight criicism, and I make it bearing in mind that the weather had become colder, is that the air conditoning was somewhat oppresive and gave rise to a dry atmosphere. Otherwise, I wd have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
