The Gables Guesthouse Ambleside occupies a wonderful site in Ambleside, on the edge of the central area with fine open views across parkland to the fells beyond. The house is sylishly furnished and decorated with private parking. All bedrooms are en-suite, with bath and/or shower and are equipped with television, radio, hair dryers, hospitality trays and alarm clocks. The Gables has free Wi-Fi. The Gables has membership to the Langdale Country Club and Spa which offers free access for all guests. The Spa is not located on site and is a 10 minute drive away. The Gables offers a spacious dining room providing traditional English cooking as well as continental and vegetarian alternatives all using locally sourced products. The guesthouse is located minutes away from the heart of Ambleside with its shops, restaurants, cinemas and many attractions.
