Laurel House is a delightful 18th-century farmhouse in the quiet Cumbrian village of Culgaith, near Penrith. Center Parcs is just 3 miles away. It is a Visit Britain 5-Star Gold-rated B&B with well-appointed rooms. Each spacious room includes a king-size or super king-size bed and has a private bathroom with quality toiletries. Laurel House is 10 minutes from junction 40 of the M6 and ideally situated for exploring the Lake District, or as a stopover on the way to Scotland. Limited free parking is available. The excellent breakfasts at Laurel House were recently awarded a Visit Britain Breakfast Award. They feature locally sourced produce and homemade bread and preserves.
