This elegant, Georgian hotel is well-located in central Bath and offers classic, luxury accommodation. The Roman Baths, Royal Crescent and Thermae Bath Spa are just a few minutes' walk away. Well equipped bedrooms each feature a satellite TV, tea/coffee-making facilities and a work area. A full private bathroom in every room includes a hairdryer. Mercure Francis is home to the relaxed Square Restaurant, which serves a Mediterranean-style menu, a good breakfast, and has views over Queen Square. The Wood Bar serves light snacks all day. The Francis is about 1 mile from Bath Spa Rail Station and a short distance from the Georgian buildings on The Circus. Bath's shops, galleries and antique markets are easy to get to on foot.
