It was built in the early part of the 19th century and still has most of the internal features from that period. The bedrooms are twin rooms and are equiped with Freeview televisions and coffee/tea. Hairdryers and ironing boards available on request. While it is only five minutes walk from the centre of Cheltenham, the house lies within Pittville Park with its' boating lake, many specimen trees and Regency Pump Room thus providing a peaceful place to stay. Cheltenham is the most complete Regency town in England and has a wonderful variety of quality shops and restaurants. It is also the venue for festivals of music, literature and horse racing while the two theatres provide a stage for players from around the country. A short drive brings the country lover to the glorious Cotswolds. There are numerous villages and hamlets to explore and lunch in a Cotswold pub of a 'pint and a ploughman's' is hard to beat. The attractions at Bourton on the Water, which is not far off, are famous throughout the world and include the Model Village, Birdland and the Motor Museum all set with a background of the gentle river Windrush.
