Green Gables Guest House is a three star , family owned and run, guest house in Windermere, in the heart of the Lake District and offers excellent value bed and breakfast holiday accommodation in a welcoming environment. Green Gables is ideally placed for visiting all the attractions the Lake District has to offer including Hawkshead, Kendal, Grasmere and the Beatrix Potter Museum and is conveniently located about a five minutes walk from the train station. Green Gables have a selection of Family, Twin, Double and Single rooms available and provide great value, clean and comfortable accommodation. All bedrooms have an LCD colour television with built-in freeview, hair dryer, radio alarm clock and tea & coffee making facilities. There is also a comfortable lounge bar on the ground floor where a selection of bottled and canned beers, wines and spirits can be bought, all very reasonably priced. In the mornings guests can enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast in the spacious dining room. Secure cycle storage is available and walkers are welcome. There is parking available across the road. This welcoming bed and breakfast accommodation sees many guests return year after year and they aim to help to make your visit to Windermere and the Lake District as special as possible. If you are with them for one night or weekend break they will work hard to make sure you feel right at home in their welcoming B&B. They offer information on a wide range of pubs, restaurants, attractions and activities across Cumbria. They can even help visitors plan their stay well in advance of their visit and can also book tours. There is no lower age limit for children, under 4yrs are free, under 12 yrs, half adult tariff. Special Offer Stay Sunday night to Thursday morning (4 nights) or Monday night to Friday morning (4 nights) for only £92.50 per person (based on 2 adults sharing ), inclusive of a full English breakfast. Not available at bank or public holidays - available Sept - June.
