Family owned and run, the Hawthorne Dene is a small Edwardian guest house of character and distinction steeped in tradition. Once inside you can experience the elegance and charm of a bygone era. There is a fine library with glorious open log fire in front of which you can relax and soak up the ambience of this lovely old house, a welcoming haven from everyday life. The house has fine rooms furnished to a very high standard, all ten luxury en-suite with power shower. Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, flat screen TV with digital. Most have fantastic sea views over looking Falmouth’s magnificent bay, a panorama that stretches from the Roseland to the Lizard. We are committed to green tourism and sustainable practices. We serve only the finest locally sourced produce, organic or free –range where possible. All our food is prepared fresh here on the premises by our own award -winning kitchen team. Special diets are catered for. We are members of the Soil Association and the CoaST project, and involved with Organic South-West and Recycle Cornwall. With plenty of off-road parking and situated just ten minutes stroll from the main town of Falmouth, and only 5 minutes from Falmouth’s beautiful sandy beaches, the Hawthorne Dene extends a warm welcome to you.
