Poppies Hotel and Restaurant in Callander is recognised as one of the most charming hotels in the area aswell as having one of the best restaurants and whisky selections for miles around. It has been in the Martin family since 2004 and enjoys a very level of repeat customers and recommendations. This is our benchmark for success. Nine individually designed rooms which are constantly being upgraded are both traditional yet provide the modern facilities that the traveller now expects. An excellent restaurant offering a very good value early evening menu but also an a la carte specialising in local and Scottish meat, game and seafood. Whilst staying, you must visit Camerons Bar, where a beautiful hand crafted local Oak Bar displays around 120 Malt whiskies. An International and interesting wine list is also available with many wines being sold by the glass. In the lovely Scottish sunshine one can always eat outside in the garden area or enjoy a refresment of some kind. Parking is free at the front and side of the hotel and wi-fi is also available to residents free of charge. The hotel has much information available to guests for most activities in the area and in the beautiful countryside around the hotel.
