Greenbank Country House is a lovely Victorian house which is quietly situated in its own grounds in the heart of the Borrowdale Valley. From the elevated site there are magnificent views of the valley and Derwentwater. It is 3½ miles south of Keswick, ideally situated for fell walking, climbing. Greenbank is a small friendly country house were people come to relax and enjoy themselves . Many people return year after year. The Borrowdale Valley is an excellent place to use as a base for touring the Lake District. The rooms in the house are spacious and comfortable. There are two comfortable lounges both with log fires, one with a TV and one non-smoking, available for our guest's use throughout the day.
