Garvan and Grazyna Smith look forward to offering you a warm welcome to the Eskdale Lodge. The Eskdale was built in 1884 as a large Victorian house. In 1958 the house was converted into a hotel, and then, in 1988, taken over by the Smith family. Since then the Eskdale has been completely refurbished providing the comfort of modern living whilst retaining the features of the original house. The hotel has 9 letting ensuite Bedrooms which are all individually decorated and feature digital LCD televisions with additional channels including MUTV, FREE WiFi, bottled mineral water, and a welcome tray comprising of tea and coffee making facilities and luxury biscuits. The Eskdale is committed to offering quality facilities ensuring guests always receive comfortable accommodation, good food, attentive service and real value for money. Our chef ,Richard, is five star trained and has over 27 years experience. Richard has produced a extensive Bistro menu featuring pub favourites, along with a regularly updated special board. Both may be enjoyed 6 evenings a week. We are currently running a fresh home-cooked main meal for £6 offer, which is available from Monday to Friday until 7pm. We also have a HAPPY HOUR Monday to Friday 5pm - 7pm.

Very friendly, spot on location for getting to Old Trafford, great food very reasonably priced, lovely bar, fantastic bedroom with a large plasma, superb breakfast. What more can I add? We have already booked our next trip. I can fully reccommend this place.
