The Devonshire Hotel combines modern stylish comforts with a warm, intimate service. In the morning, enjoy a delightful breakfast in our conservatory before hopping on a train to London or exploring Essex. The original building was constructed over 100 years ago being used as an Edwardian villa and so the Devonshire was built with the aim to incorporate and retain as many of the original features as possible while still making it convenient and comfortable for the modern hotel guest . The result is a seamless blend of modern style and classic beauty. The hotel now has full wheelchair access and facilities for disabled guests and facilities to cater for coeliacs on request.
