Primrose Cottage is a warm and friendly family run establishment. A typically English country cottage standing in approximately half and acre of landscaped gardens. Tucked away in the tiny conservation village of Little Oakley, it is built of local stone and dates from around the 17c. Bedrooms are furnished with period furniture and are either en suite or private bathroom. Breakfast is cooked on a traditional kitchen range and served in our pretty beamed dining room which is heated in winter by log fires. Guests eat from a heavy antique oak table set with willow patterned crockery. Where possible we use local produce, our own home made preserves and eggs from our free range chickens. |
