Bicton College - Budleigh Salterton - University

Distance 3.63 miles (5.81 km)
Bicton College is located a mere five minutes from the south coast with its selection of beaches, towering cliffs and seaside towns, and twenty minutes from the regional capital of Exeter, which with a touch of buzzy, big city atmosphere, a large student population and a thriving arts scene is one of the liveliest cities in the southwest. The citys long heritage means there are plenty of monuments and historical attractions to occupy at least a days sightseeing, and the excellent selection of bars, cafes and restaurants make Exeter a vibrant place to be after dark. Cadhay House - Historical Houses

Distance 5.11 miles (8.18 km)
Cadhay, an historic Elizabethan manor of special architectural interest in the rural landscape of East Devon

Cadhay was built by John Haydon in 1550 on the site of an earlier house. His nephew Robert built the Long Gallery, a feature of late 16th century housebuilding, closing in the south side of the house to form a courtyard that became known as the Court of the Sovereigns because of the four statues of Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary and Elizabeth that stand over the doors.

Robert was married to Joan, the daughter of Sir Amias Poulett, Privy Councillor, former ambassador to France and Keeper of Mary Queen of Scots during her imprisonment.

Where world class facilities and seamless service, blend with the renowned warmth and hospitality of the West Country. This magnificent championship par 72 course is set in stunning tree and lake studded parkland, with rolling fairways and USGA spec. greens. For the less experienced, the Acorns course presents a realistic challenge. Brush up your technique on the practice ground and driving range, or book in for some PGA tuition.
