Sutcliffe from the Football League on Saturday, August 26 of that year. A new stadium has long been mooted for Doncaster Rovers. The stadium finally started to become a reality when Planning permission was granted. Construction started on the 17th of October 2005 of a 15,000 all-seater community stadium complex and it is expected to be complete by December 2006.
