This grade II listed 300 year old cottage, located in the heart of the old market town of Bradford on Avon, offers a comfortable apartment with a courtyard for dining. Whitehill Cottage retains much of the building’s original character, but is complemented with modern facilities including a flat-screen TV, luxury bathroom and a large open plan lounge with views of the quaint town. The kitchen has been fully fitted with appliances for self catering, including a fridge, oven, cutlery and a dining area for guests to relax and enjoy meals. In the warmer months guests can also sit outside on the table and chairs available in the cottage courtyard. Fab! Whitehill Cottage is just a 15-minute drive from the historic attractions of Bath, or guests can take a 10-minute stroll through Bradford on Avon’s many small shops and restaurants.

Sir Thomas Hungerford acquired and fortified Farleigh manor in 1370 and,over time, it became Farleigh Hungerford Castle. Of the original castle, the two south towers, parts of the curtain wall, the outer gatehouse, the 14th-century chapel and the crypt remain. Following major conservation works, the chapel is now open containing a unique wall painting of St George on foot, slaying the dragon.
