Hotel Description

Upper Ansdore Farmhouse dates from the XIVth century with later additions. The house once belonged to Sir William Cockaine, a former Lord Mayor of London in 1619, and is mentioned in Hasted's history of Kent. Situated in a Sylvan setting with far reaching views across the valley, in a quiet area away from all the traffic. It overlooks a Kent trust nature reserve. You are assured of a warm welcome, and a full English breakfast with our own free range eggs etc. Excellent location for walking, cycling and exploring the surrounding areas. Lyminge Forest and Kent Nature Reserve both one mile.

Maps are in the RECEPTION hallway, ............. please always ask if you want a map as we have several maps just for walkers.

Lovely, quiet spot. Good for a rest in the country.
