Yet Another Lovely Stay At Easedale Lodge - \'highly Recommended B&b\'
We have just returned from a 3-night stay at Easedale Lodge. Having had the pleasure of staying in most of the rooms on numerous visits before we were perfectly happy with our choice in Room 7. We thoroughly enjoyed our mid-week stay in Ambleside very much. Easedale lodge was a perfect place to stay, great hosts, lovely room, a fantastic breakfast (foundation of the day) and centrally located with off-road parking. A big thank you to Sarah and Dave for their warm and hospitable welcome and for looking after us so well during our stay, including the wit and humour and many glasses of sherry!! Gerry & Michelle

Lovely B&b
Nothing is too much trouble for welcoming and friendly hosts, Sarah and Dave. B&B is beautifully decorated throughout, everywhere is spotlessly clean, bed was very comfy and there was a great choice of breakfast. Central village location handy for Lake Windemere, pubs and restaurants.

An Amazing Stay At Easedale Lodge
Sarah and Dave welcome you into their A+++ Bed and Breakfast with such warmth and friendliness that it stays with you throughout your stay. We loved our visit at Easedale Lodge and will definitely stay there again when we return to explore the Lake District in the future. Our accommodations were beautiful, with two huge windows overlooking the park. The bed was very comfortable. The ensuite was spacious with a shower and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was made to order and delicious both mornings. Very plentiful. Loved the smoked salmon. Highly recommend the crumpets as a treat to finish off your breakfast. Overall, an amazing stay and would recommend Easedale lodge.

Great Stay At Easedale Lodge
Our second visit to Easedale Lodge and yet again we had a throughly enjoyable visit. On arrival we received a warm welcome and shown to our cosy room overlooking this lovely village. Sarah and Dave are very knowledgable about the local area and provided many suggestions for eating out, walks, places to visit, etc. which allowed us to get the most out of our time in Ambleside and surrounding area.

The breakfast here is excellent, a great full English that keeps you going well into the mid afternoon.

Thank you both for a lovely break, see you next year.

Fantastic Break At Easedale Lodge
For our first trip to the Lakes, we chose Easedale Lodge and it was just what we wanted.

The room was beautifully decorated, it felt luxurious and cosy with lovely views of the park. Breakfast was efficient, plentiful and relaxing and we loved the lounge for a change from the room. The location of this lodge meant we were close to town and the many walks around the area. We will definitely be returning to Easedale Lodge in the near future.

Easedale Lodge
We arrived in the pouring rain, so the private car parking was a great start. We received a warm welcome, a chat about Ambleside and the facilities in the Lodge.

We were in room 2 with two bedroom windows at the front with a good view. Though it was on the road side the traffic noise was negligible. The room was bright and clean with good decor. Bathroom was very clean with a double-sized shower, again great.

Breakfast greeting was cheery and chatty. Your room number matched your breakfast dining table - I\'d would have preferred to choose my own table but not a problem. Full English for us, which was ok.

I\'d definitely return back to Ambleside and stay at the Easedale Lodge.

Wonderful Accommodation
Easedale Lodge is wonderful accommodation. We have visited several times in recent years, and it never fails to set the standards that everyone else should meet.

The whole accommodation is comfortable and contemporary. It had a homely atmosphere. The service is second to none. The breakfasts are great.

A Great Stay And Perfect Location!
First time staying at Easedale Lodge for a couple of days fell-walking. Sarah and Dave were perfect hosts and the location in the centre of Ambleside was great for shops, pubs, restaurants, for picturesque routes up into the Fells, and only a few minutes walk to Lake Windermere - perfect for an evening stroll and lake cruise! The room was tastefully decorated and spotless. Although the room wasn\'t en suite, the private shower room and toilet were more than adequate and only a few steps across the corridor! The WiFi was fast (even on the second floor!) and easy to connect to. The on site car park was very convenient and being off the main street meant not having to deal with finding space during busy times. A super breakfast with lots of local food on offer for all dietary needs! An excellent stay all round - highly recommended. I look forward to my next visit!

We\'ll Be Back Again!
We had such a great stay at Easedale Lodge and were very sorry to leave after such a relaxing long weekend! We decided to stay an extra night so had two different rooms over the course of our stay, and both were extremely comfortable. One of the rooms had a separate shower/bathroom but wasn\'t a problem at all. The whole B&B was beautiful!

Sarah and Dave were exceptionally welcoming, really giving a personal touch to the stay - absolutely brilliant hosts. The breakfast was also second to none - loads of choice, and cooked perfectly. I rarely enjoy a fry up and usually opt for a lighter option, but their cooked breakfast was so good that I had it two days in a row :) And the homemade muesli is delicious!

Thanks Sarah and Dave - we\'ll definitely be back again!
