Great Experience
This was our first experience with a B & B and was outstanding. Overall very nice, they do little things to make it feel they are taking the extra effort. Extremely clean and well adorned. Accommodating with our slightly early arrival. Breakfast was outstanding. Great location. Very helpful with all our needs, with one question, they took care of arranging our cab to train

An Excellent Place To Stay In The Heart Of St Andrews
Lovely welcome, despite arriving outside the preferred check in time. Was made to feel it was no inconvenience at all. Lovely room. Had a really good night\'s sleep. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever had, especially the variety of fruy return if staying in East Neuk again

Amazing
We stayed at 5 Pilmour Place for my daughters wedding, it was one of the best bed and breakfast guest houses we have ever stayed in. it is run to an exceptionally high standard, if you are going to St Andrews for a break, this needs to be your first choice.

Golf Stay
Absolutely fabulous! We stayed in the newly built garden room, which was set at the rear of the garden, which was stunning.

The furnishings in both the shower room and bedroom were five star, with coffee machine, tea making facilities, sweets, biscuits, bottled water etc!

Breakfast was amazing from a large menu catering for all tastes. Service was excellent.

You are virtually a stone\'s throw from the Old Course and restaurants are a few minutes walk away. We will be back!

Perfect. Will Return.
I have stayed here several times years ago, and again for work this time. Perfect location just around the corner from the 18th green of the Old Course. Plush surroundings and decoration, modern rooms and bathrooms. Shared breakfast table for all the guests is thoroughly enjoyable, adding to the friendly warm welcome. A slightly extended earlier breakfast time would be appreciated for business travellers, but the 8-9am time is ok and understandable for a B&B. Plenty of car parking for free around the town, particularly around The Scores once the daytime traffic leaves town.

I can tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Five Pilmour Place. The location is one block away from the 18th green on the Old Course. The rooms are quaint and nice. Breakfast was fantastic. The owners were warm and welcoming. If I every make it back to St Andrews, this is where I\'m staying. Highly recommended!

Excellent
Nice modern rooms with nice quality bedding. Breakfast was very nice with a good choice and nicely cooked. The rooms are small. We were in the attire room but they are nice and clearly decorated recently. Would stay again. The street is not noisy. Further along the road towards town was clearly very noisy with students doing the drunken weekend but this property is out of the way of the route for students so it was quiet.

Another Comfortable Stay.
Having stayed previously in the Deluxe Double Room, I was very happy to discover that the comfort and luxury of the Deluxe room was present in the Single Room at Five Pilmour Place - small but beautifully designed bathroom with a hot, powerful shower and fluffy towels, very comfortable bed with high quality bedding and soft furnishings, lovely little touches such as squares of fudge, tea cakes and the provision of kettle to make tea, coffee and hot chocolate all contributed to a really relaxing and enjoyable stay. The hot breakfast menu is wonderful - the best poached eggs I\'ve ever tasted - everything is beautifully presented and served. Enjoying a central location, everything is accessible on foot from Five Pilmour Place; the charming town centre with an array of independent cafes, bars and restaurants, cinema, glorious beaches either side of the town, the golf courses etc. Jackie and Norman are wonderful hosts - I will definitely be returning to this little gem in St Andrews.

Excellent
Loved our stay at Pilmour Place, it was a great location, couldnt have asked for better! The house is stunning and beautifully decorated throughout. Our room was lovely with the patio doors, shame it was too cold to enjoy them though. Room was compleatly spotless and the bed was sooo comfy! Lovely little touches such as products in bathroom and a little gift since it was Valentines day. Jackie was very accomodating and lovely and plesent as was the lovely lady who did the breakfasts in the morning. The cooked breakfast was absolutly amazing! Could have done with more of it though as I like a big cooked breakfast and there was only one of each item, although presented beautifully. Only small improvment I would make would be individual tables at breakfast rather than one large one. Would love to come back but to the suite this time

We do our upmost to ensure that our guests go away feeling they have relaxed and hope that we may see you both again soon. As to table layout, unfortunately our dining room does not lend itself to individual tables and we do appreciated one large table is not for everyone. J Wright, Owner
