Stayed over here for a few nights recently and can only say it\'s well worth a trip if you like some peace and quiet. Ditcheat itself is a beautiful village and the inn is a fantastic place to stay, we had dinner both evenings and the food is on a par with any restaurant it\'s really excellent quality and the bar is a lovely place to have a relaxing drink afterwards.

Great Stay, Lovely Location
We had a great 2 night stay. The Manor House Inn is a \'proper\' English village pub with lovely rooms, great food and welcoming people. A great location, particularly if you enjoy horse racing, in a quiet, peaceful village with some great walking around. We\'ll be back. Thank you.

Last Minute Break
On arrival we was greeted by a bubbly, joyful young lady by the name of JASMINE. She made everything easy by having a table laid for our evening meal, even though we had not reserved one. The evening and breakfast meals where outstanding & excellent value for money. The room, well they say room, it was THE MUSE , a detached building with large entrance door leading to a large bathroom, which had a stone wall with the biggest shower ever; and bedroom with ample storage, very comfy and clean throughout. We will return & recommend this establishment with our friends and family.

Fantastic In Every Way
Fabulous stay, brilliant deal for the Sunday night stay and very attentive staff. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding, best we have had for a long time. Idyllic setting for horse racing fans as Paul Nicholls stables are in the village, horses pass by the door of the Manor House Inn on their way to the gallops. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

A Lovely Little Christmas Break...
My stay at the Manor was as a little Christmas treat to myelf. It looked lovely on the Booking.com website and I got a good deal for b and b. I was a little bit disappointed on arrival to find my room was in an annexe albeit characterful as it is converted stables. And in hindsight, a room in the main premises might have been noisy with the possibility of late revellers. The room was narrow but spacious with a separate very large shower room, beautifully modern. The decor in the room was chic, lovely linens, beautiful towels and very comfortable. Sadly the towel rail wasnt working and in a big room with minus degrees overnight, it was a tiny bit chilly, but the shower was gorgeous and soon warmed the room up. By contrast, I had to turn the radiator in the main room DOWN!!! Plenty of tea, coffee and milks and a convenient kettle. Plenty of storage/wardrobe space, although I didnt need to use any.

I had a meal in the evening, good plateful of ham, egg and chips (not very Christmassy I know!), ham and chips were good and plentiful, eggs were sadly overcooked first time around, but second time around perfect! Breakfast was excellent, the best bacon I have almost ever had, beautifully cooked. Could have done with two eggs rather than two sausages, as with black pudding (also gorgeous) two proper bacon rashers , it was a very meaty breakfast. To be fair, I hadnt checked menu options as Id straightaway just ordered a full English.

The Chef was friendly and informative about all the interesting things in and around the village and the Manageress was lovely. The place has a nice ambience and the sort of people who visited on the evening of my arrival, some concerned with the racing, some clearly farming, were a little different from the sort of townies Im normally around. A walk around the village and a purchase made in the Cheese Factory rounded off a very pleasant short stay. I would happily stay there again and recommend.

Welcoming
We chose the Manor House as we wanted somewhere in that location with Homely accommodation and good food. The Inn was lovely and the warm welcome made us feel at home immediately. We stayed in the cottage a little walk down the road and it was perfect, in fact we could of stayed longer . Our only negative was that the pub was very cold , although the heating and log fire were on and had we been staying longer perhaps more menu choice but for the two days and nights it was perfect. Thank you all very much and we will very probably return.

Weekend Away
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding at Pennard House. We were late arriving on the first night but it wasn\'t a problem and throughout our stay the staff were incredibly friendly and helf. Our room was clean and warm and very good value. The quality of the breakfast was amazing, definitely the nicest cooked breakfast that we\'ve had in a long time. The only negative for us was the size of the bed in our room as it wasn\'t a full size double and my wife and I could have done with more room (our BMIs are below 25 before you jump to the conclusion that we\'re both built like shot putters). We\'d definitely recommend this to anyone.

Tucked Away Treasure!
After turning off the main road onto an almost forgotten looking magical wooded country lane, we felt a little lost until we arrived at the end and found the lively inn. It\'s clearly the local village meeting point and was buzzing on a sunny Friday evening. We were welcomed warmly, not like strangers at all. The family room was a surprise. It\'s light and spacious with a room for parents and a separate room with two beds for the children. The bathroom was modern, the shower wonderful and our evening meal was tasty and the inn is typically quaint and cozy.We felt right at home. It was perfect for us. We slept very well and awakened to the sound of horses riding by accompanied by a chorus of birds and wonderful country air. Breakfast was very good and we loved the fact that everything was relaxed, uncomplicated and friendly. One word of caution, it is an inn and the family room is right above the pub so the merriment didn\'t end until about midnight. It didn\'t bother us a bit but it\'s something to consider if you\'re looking to go to bed at 10pm and expect complete peace and quiet. We were on holiday and our children are almost teenagers so it didn\'t bother us a bit! The drive to Bristol Airport through gorgeous English countryside took just about 45 min. We would stay again.

First Past The Post
We stayed for one night in Room 3 of The Mews ('See More Business'). The fixtures and fittings were fine and the accommodation was warm and cosy - the bathroom was huge! We'd enjoyed dinner in The Denman Bar - the recommended chocolate puddle pudding was great. There were good breakfast options and the sausage quality from the local farm was excellent. Horse racing is a vital part of our family and the Inn connection with Paul Nicholls' yard added to our enjoyment. An appreciation for NH racing is though a bonus because the Manor House Inn offers decent accommodation, fine food and an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. We look forward to returning to a venue that belongs in the winners' enclosure.
