A warm welcome to The Eltermere Inn. We have breathed new life into the Eltermere with our recent refurbishment programme. We have twelve lovely bedrooms, all with wonderful views. Some of which have been remodelled into chic, contemporary rooms with elegant bathrooms. We now have a fabulous dining room with views over the lake and gardens where we serve wonderful locally sourced food. We also now have a bar and terrace where we serve Lunch, Supper and Afternoon Teas. The English Lake District is a wonderful place to take your holiday or short break. Not only does the area boast some of the most beautiful scenery in England but it also has a remarkable heritage; The poet William Wordsworth and the childrens author Beatrix Potter both lived and wrote here. We are surrounded by the majestic Langdale Pikes and have uninterupted views over the lake at Eltermere.

Windermere Steamboats & Museum is located on a former sand wharf site where, for many years, barges unloaded gravel dredged from the bed of the lake.
