Would Definitley Return To This Lovely B&b
Warm and friendly welcome from owner. The Twin room was spotlessly clean with excellent facilities including tea, coffee, biscuits, bottle of water and small carafe of sherry. Good size room with comfortable bed and added benefit of sofa to relax and watch TV. Good choice and quality of breakfast on offer. The full cooked breakfast was excellent.

Cotton Farm was a heavenly stop en route from Ringwood to Colwyn Bay. Arriving at 9pm on Sunday, a dark, cold night, driving down country roads, we were not sure what to expect. We got such a warm welcome from Clare, the rooms and en suite bathrooms were spacious and amazing, like being in a 4star suite at a hotel for a fraction of the cost, and double the comfort! And the breakfast in the morning was cooked to order and delicious. Clare is a charming host and made our 1 night stay very special.

We have stayed at many high class hotels, but it is true to say that our bedroom at Cotton Farm would not have been out of place in any of those establishments. Space, furnishings and facilities were all you could hope for - and the complimentary sherry was a lovely touch! The breakfast was well cooked and generous. Clare was a warm and welcoming hostess and made our stay very relaxed.
Definitely a five star establishment.

A Great B & B We Can Highly Recommend
We had four nights at this lovely location. The room and bathroom were really spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast were great, and Claire was really helpful with advice on how to get around. We found the Park and Ride option for getting into Chester really good, and also using the train to go to Liverpool for a day.

Cooton Farm Review
Onlty able to stay for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. Warm welcome. Attention to detail in the rooms and beautifully quiet location. Full marks
- 27th Jun, 2016
Very very welcoming. Brilliant room absolutely spotless. Fantastic breakfast highly recommended
- 27th Jun, 2016
We were only in Chester for one night and I found this idyllic b&b online. Wow! What a find!I would happily recommend everything about it, from the setting, the decor, the big towelling dressing gowns and the amazing breakfast. The decanter of sherry with the tea and coffee facilities in the room was a nice touch. It\'s easy to find, just a short way out of Chester on the A51 Nantwich road although it\'s set 2 miles off the main road (down a very pleasant lane clearly sign posted to Cotton Edmunds) making it accessible but very quiet and perfect for a good walk. Totally delightful all round.

A Most Pleasant And Relaxing Place To Stay
We enjoyed very much staying at Cotton Farm. It was beautifully quiet and peaceful, and we loved seeing the swallows flying in and out of the barn opposite the farm house. Clare was most attentive and kind, and she had thought of everything. I did not have a cooked breakfast, but my husband did, and said it was delicious. Also, Clare catered for my allergies and was very considerate about those.

Gorgeous, Quiet, Immaculate Farmhouse
Second time we\'ve stayed here: we just love it. The hosts manage to strike the perfect balance between being welcoming and informative, and giving you space. The rooms are lovely: very large, lovely en-suite bathrooms. Complimentary decanter of sherry in each bedroom! The breakfast is OUTSTANDING. They take great care over consistency in presentation: it looks good, it tastes great and there is plenty of it. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Friendly welcome, great spacious en suite room with the added luxuries of toiletries and sherry giving that \"extra effort\" feeling. Splendid breakfast. As a frequent visitor to Chester I have experienced a variety of accommodation types and £ for £ this is the best I have been to. Cotton Farm will be my first choice when I visit Chester again.

What A Gem
This b & b was so nice and perfect getaway from all the noise, hussle and bussle of others.
The room we had was gorgeous, just like a country feeling all around.

Lovely Place, The Owner Is Very Nice
Stayed here on the 29th Dec 2015.
The room I stayed in was the \"Blue Room\"
A large, spacious, very nice looking room.
Breakfast was delicious, and got me off to a great start for the day ahead.
My Navigation system didn\'t take me to the house. But it did take me to where the owners said it would on their website, following the directions from the website, it was easy to find.
Had booked 2 nights, but had to leave early for personal reasons, unfortunately.
Would love to return with my wife in the spring/summer time.

One Night Stay 26.10.15
Throughly enjoyed our stay at Cotton farm, the room and bathroom were lovely and huge. A very comfy bed and great breakfast looking forward to staying again.
- 29th Oct, 2015
We stayed in Cotton Farm for our second wedding anniversary weekend as we tend to base our trip on the traditional wedding gift for that year.
This farmhouse B&B is located on the middle of a working farm and is so peaceful, surrounded by beautiful countryside. A great place to relax a distress, with Clare a lovely accommodating host.
Whilst enjoying a sense of being away from it all, Chester and a range of pretty Cheshire villages are only a short 10 minute drive away. A car isn’t essential and we got the train up to Chester Station. A taxi doesn’t take long to get back into the city centre/ station (price per trip around £10-15). The local pub (The Plough) is only just over a mile walk down the road and provides a warm welcome, serving good food.
The room itself was large, clean and well stocked. Breakfast were lovely including lots of local produce.

Peaceful Retreat With Every Comfort
I loved staying here. Cotton Farm is in a beautiful and tranquil part of Cheshire with walks on the doorstep. My room was huge with a comfy sofa as well as large bed; the bathroom was equally big and had every comfort provided. I enjoyed freshly made fruit salad and home made toast and marmalade for breakfast but there was also a variety of locally produced ingredients for cooked breakfasts. I was made to feel very welcome throughout my stay. I definitely intend to stay here again.

A Perfect Place To Stay
It\'s so pleasing to know when you\'ve made your booking for your overnight stay, that you got it right and on this occasion, that was absolutely the case. Cotton Farm oozes with old fashioned charm from start to finish.

I just want to say a big thank you to Clare for making our stay at Cotton Farm so enjoyable. The Garden Room was beautiful with a lovely view, and the bathroom enormous, complete with rocking chair and old cheese lift as this was part of the original dairy. There was a lovely comfortable bed, tea and coffee topped up daily and fresh towels provided daily too. We had a big choice of breakfasts which were delicious. Clare couldn\'t do enough to help her guests enjoy their stay, and provided us with walking books on arrival so we could get out and about exploring the area. All in all, a special place to stay with an exceptional welcome. Thank you, Clare.

A Gem In The Countryside
We stopped here en route from Oxford to the Ferry at Holyhead. Set in an enchanting rural setting, this working farm hides the most beautiful and thoughtfully designed interior. Open the white door, surrounded by masses of flowering tulips, and step into a fascinating welcoming house.
The garden room was spacious, spotless and warm (on a very cold April day) with beautiful furnishings. From the window there was a lovely view of the well tended garden and terrace with the fields stretching out into the distance. The luxurious bathroom still had the old hoist that was used many years ago to lift the cheeses to the upper level for storage. It was a large bright light room with a shower over a modern bath, large fluffy towels and an old inviting rocking chair.
Somehow we weren’t surprised by the breakfast of scrumptious smoked salmon and scrambled egg, home made granary bread and local jams, with a mass of other delicious options.
It has to be the only B&B where we have been welcomed with fresh flowers, a small decanter of sherry, shortbread biscuits, fresh water, coffee and every tea you could wish for!
We can’t wait to return!

What A Find
Cotton Farm was one of our favourite B&Bs on a 7 week trip around England. The farm was just outside town in a beautiful quiet setting. Our two rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The hospitality was great-very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent too! We were only sorry we weren\'t staying longer as our visit was very relaxing and there was so much to see within a day\'s drive.

Stayed at Cotton Farm for one night in July. It was a beautiful farm house and Claire made us very welcome.
Ou room was a very large, bright and airy room and the bathroom was huge with nice deep bath and lots of hot water. We had everything we needed in our room, variety of teas, coffees and biscuits, good TV and even a little decanter of complimentary sherry - what a treat!
Breakfast was delicious. Claire allowed us to bring two friends to join us for this. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially the lovely fresh fruits. The dining room was beautiful with fantastic big table and we enjoyed the company of another two guests.
We would recommend this venue without hesitation. Thank you for having us, Claire.

Our Stay At Cotton Farm...
...was a really lovely experience. We, a family of four with older children, were made to feel extremely welcome in a relaxed and warm home environment. There was so much care and attention to detail in both the 'bed' and the 'breakfast' aspects. Claire was especially helpful with details about where to eat and getting around - nothing seemed too much trouble for her. It was a truly relaxing, quiet escape - best night's sleep for many a month!

Cotton Farm Is Perfect!
My mother and I recently stayed at Cotton Farm and it was truly a perfect visit. Claire and Nigel made us feel right at home from the very start. We arrived late, which was very inconvenient, and yet they didn't make us feel that way at all. The room had every possible amenity and the beds were very comfortable. There was even a decanter of sherry in the room! The breakfasts were delicious with every possible menu item one could want. My favorite was the cheese omelet. (probably the best I've ever had!) I can't wait to return!!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the very comfortable, peaceful and well-kept Cotton Farm. The welcome was the right balance between attentive and non-obtrusive and the rooms are cosy, quiet and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts also are excellent. Although you feel like you are in the depths of the country, Cotton Farm is in fact just a short walk away from an excellent pub doing good food (The Plough), and a bit of a longer walk to other very good pubs, and of course Chester, which you can reach very easily along the canal.
